Exploring the diversity of geosites in Călimani Mountains

Abstract:Călimani Mountains offer an impressive diversity of natural elements that can be conserved, including flora and fauna that could represent a tourism potential. This study evaluates three key geosites within the Călimani National Park: the Sulphur Quarry, Doisprezece Apostoli (Twelve Apostles), and Pietrosul Peak (2100 m).
