Exploring the determinants of health‐promoting behaviors among miners: A text mining and meta‐analysis

Abstract: The health‐promoting behaviors of miners are of great significance to their physical and mental well‐being. With a focus on enhancing their overall health, this study aimed to explore the determinants and influencing mechanisms of health‐promoting behaviors in miners. Initially, the latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) model was utilized to extract topical keywords from literature over the last 23 years and to categorize the determinants based on integrating the health promotion model and the health belief model.… Show more

“…Based on the results for Topics 8, 10, and 11, neuroscience methods have evidently been widely applied to study brain activity characteristics during early reading processes. For example, the use of fMRI technology can help us better understand the bidirectional relationship between reading skills and brain speech processing (Wang et al, 2023 ) and explore the association between early reading skills and the organization of the ventral occipito–temporal cortex (Chyl et al, 2023 ). The application of neuroscience methods has obviously brought innovation to early reading research.…”

“…Kaushik et al ( 2023 ) utilized the latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) model to mine topics from 3,844 articles related to social entrepreneurship that were obtained from the Scopus and Web of Science (WOS) databases and identify latent research topics and future development trends in social entrepreneurship studies. Wang et al ( 2023 ) also used the LDA to mine topics from 8,197 articles related to health-promoting behaviors among miners that were obtained from the WOS database to assist researchers with grasping the core research topics and potential future directions in that domain. Evidently, NLP techniques have been embraced across various research domains, and the feasibility of using topic modeling to extract and observe the distribution of topics and research trends in extensive literature has been empirically validated.…”
