Abstract:Purpose: To evaluate the association between elements of the built environment and physician well-being using a scoping review. Background: Physicians currently report low work satisfaction, high burnout and depression. The built environment has been shown to affect well-being in the general population, but its relationship to physician well-being is not well understood.
