“…The qualitative studies included in the current review provide important information about how positive mental health is understood by the study participants. Themes derived from the studies by O'Brien (2020) and Bailey (2021) indicate participants to have a certain awareness of salutogenic facets of mental health but emphasise the need for further clarification around terminology. Both studies also underline that increased knowledge of positive mental health can promote help-seeking, support the development of coping skills and help to overcome mental health difficulties.…”
