Orthopedic surgical procedures are associated with different outcomes that have both physical and psychological implications for patients, thus, the need to understand the risk factors associated with patients' Extended Length of Hospital Stay (ELOHS) after the procedures. This retrospective study identified patients who are treated for Joint replacement (JR), Shoulder Repair (SR), Knee Reconstruction (KR), Fractures(others)(FO), Hip Fracture (HF), Ligament/tendon repair (LR), and Hematoma/abscess (HA) and used Cox proportionality hazard model to determine the risk factors of ELOHS.
