Abstract: Virus-like particle (VLP) vaccine is considered to be the most promising candidate alternative to the traditional inactivated vaccine for foot-and-mouth disease (FMD). To elicit a desired immune response, hollow mesoporous silica nanoparticles (HMSNs) have been synthesized and utilized as a nanocarrier for FMD VLP vaccine delivery.
