Objectives. To document the numbers and types of interorganizational partnerships within the national patient safety domain, changes over time in these networks, and their potential for disseminating patient safety knowledge and practices. Data Sources. Self-reported information gathered from representatives of nationallevel organizations active in promoting patient safety. Study Design. Conclusions. Growth in partnerships signifies growing strength in the capacity to disseminate and implement patient safety advancements in the U.S. health care system. The centrality of AHRQ in these networks of partnerships bodes well for its leadership role in disseminating information, tools, and practices generated by patient safety research projects.

ResumenEl presente artículo busca hacer una síntesis de las relaciones interorganizacionales que se desarrollaron en la política pública de víctimas del desplazamiento forzado en el municipio de Medellín, empleando como marco de análisis la teoría de Redes de Polí-tica Pública y la Teoría Interorganizacional, centrando la atención en los escenarios donde se presentaron dichas relaciones, los atributos, las posiciones y los roles de las organizaciones, y los tipos de relaciones y los intercambios y tipos de recursos. Este estudio permitió comprender la estructura y la dinámica de la red, en la cual se observaron frecuencias distintas en la participación de las organizaciones, cambios en sus roles, posiciones de poder, relaciones conflictivas y cooperativas, entre otros factores. This article seeks to synthetise the interorganisational relationships that have developed in Public Policy in relation with victims of forced displacement in the Municipality of Medellin. Using the Public Policy Networks approach and Inter-organisational theory, it focuses on scenarios where such relationships occurred, on the attributes, positions and roles of the organisations, on the types of relationships, exchanges and resources. To achieve the objectives, Social Network Analysis as methodological strategy and qualitative strategies were used to understand the organizations' perceptions of their relationships in the policy process. Le monde contemporain est de plus en plus souvent décrit comme un vaste tissu de réseaux, mais comme tel, il est souvent perçu et vécu comme insaisissable. Devant cette image incapacitante, cet article vise à mettre en évidence la dimension potentiellement politique de l’analyse des réseaux, notamment dans ses versions développées en sciences sociales et, plus profondément, de la notion de réseau elle-même. Il s’agit de montrer qu’il peut y avoir là de quoi constituer un projet politique, en l’occurrence appuyé sur le souhait de mieux connaître cet univers réticulaire, mais aussi de pouvoir agir par rapport à lui. Trois étapes sont proposées pour préciser comment peut se construire un tel projet politique. La première vise à déployer une connaissance des réseaux et met en avant l’utilité d’une démarche consistant à les tracer. La deuxième montre les possibilités qu’offre cette connaissance, notamment en permettant de se repérer dans un monde fréquemment décrit comme porté vers une complexité croissante et en aidant, grâce à un degré de réflexivité supplémentaire, à reconstruire des critères de choix de connexions dans ce monde. La troisième s’appuie sur ces points pour inviter à penser les capacités d’intervention dans les configurations réticulaires.The contemporary world is more and more often described as a vast fabric of networks, but as such, it is often perceived and lived as elusive. In the face of this paralyzing description, this article aims at highlighting the potentially political dimension of network analysis, in particular in its versions developed in social sciences, and, more deeply, of the concept of network itself. It is a question of showing that there can be means to compose a political project, resting precisely on the wish to better know this reticular universe, but also to be able to act appropriately towards it. Three steps are proposed to specify how such a political project can be built. The first step aims at deploying such a knowledge of networks and it emphasizes the usefulness of procedures to trace them. The second step shows the possibilities that this knowledge offers, especially by enabling one to find one’s way in a world frequently described as inclined towards a growing complexity and by helping to rebuild criteria on which to choose connections in this world, thanks to an additional degree of reflexivity. The third step, based on these points, invites one to imagine the intervention capacities in network configurations
