Exploration of the hydraulic structure of the water supply facilities operation mode and flow

Abstract: For multi-section drainage facilities, it is important to develop operational measures based on maneuvering moving barriers. Maneuvering of moving barriers is a measure that carries out the flow of water from the upper reaches to the lower reaches at the required level, taking into accounts the design features and operational mode of the hydraulic regime of the drainage structure. The maneuvering mode in the flow of water from the discharge structures ensures the order of opening, phasing, and level of opening… Show more

“…The width of the section at the level of the dam's crest is 930 m. The relief of the flooded area is relatively calm, and the right bank of the Akdarya River is heavily indented by sais and ravines. The reservoir is filled with water from the Zerafshan River along the Akdarya due to spring nutrition and waste water when irrigated lands are irrigated [3,4]. A tower-type water outlet with a capacity of 75 m 3 /s is combined with a catastrophic discharge shaft arranged on the back side of the water outlet tower, with a cross-section of 3.15 x 8.0 m. According to the project, the spillway threshold level is 493.55 m, and the throughput is up to 173 m 3 /s.…”

“…To prevent the phenomenon of the channel process at hydraulic structures, effective energy absorbers must be put into practice. In this regard, we conducted an experimental study on the choice of structures that dampen the energy of the flow and eliminate the deformation of the conjugation of the pools [3]. Experimental studies of hydraulic structures on models make it possible to predict the behavior of a future structure in nature and, when designing it, to find optimal solutions that meet reliability and efficiency.…”

“…Analysis of the data obtained from the measurement of the dimensions of the waste shows that the thickness of the main part of the mouthpieces is from 20 mm to 60 mm (49%) (Table 1) and their length is from 201 mm to 600 mm (57%). In addition, the degree of clearance of the nozzles will also depend on the installation angle of the waste [10][11][12][13][14]. The data obtained on the ABK-2 channel show that the amount of debris accumulated in front of the bars per day is in some cases 350-500 kg.…”

“…Agriculture as a branch of material production differs from all other branches in that land is the main and irreplaceable means of production. Sustainable development of the economy will depend, first of all, on the correct solution of the attitude to land, in particular, on improving soil quality [1][2][3][4][5]. Improving the natural quality of soil is carried out primarily through agrotechnical methods.…”
