Abstract:Inversion of the photoplethysmographic (PPG) signal is a rarely reported case. This signal anomaly can have implications for PPG-based cardiovascular assessments. The conditions for PPG signal inversion in the vicinity of the dorsalis pedis (DPA) artery of the foot were investigated.
