The technological assistance that can be used in the urban planning brings together the diverse trends in research related to information within cities. This study works with different fields under the same umbrella, integrating Big Data on one side, and Urbanism, on the other. This study aims to provide a reflection over the use of technology through a practical approach. By doing so, it seeks to understand the benefits derived from the ongoing advancements in geospatial technology and foster a comprehensive understanding of its implications in the realm of urban design education and practice.
