Abstract:Conventional temperature swing adsorption (TSA) is mainly applied for the removal of trace contaminants. Indirectly heated and cooled adsorbers were developed to make bulk separation economically feasible. A quasi-continuous TSA process to remove CO 2 from an N 2 /CO 2 mixture with a pilot plant is established. The experimentally determined data are taken to validate and to adjust a 2D simulation model. For the validation, the CO 2 desorption, the N 2 recovery rate as well as the axial temperature profile are … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
