Experimental tests of slender reinforced concrete columns under combined axial load and lateral force

Abstract: ε c1 = strain at peak stress of concreteδ ns = the amplification factor ρ s = confinement volumetric geometric reinforcement ratio.ε s = strain of the lower reinforcements in the section, tension.δ u = displacement of the column in the descending branch corresponding to 0.85 of the maximum load.
