Abstract:To study the damage performance of the Zr-based amorphous alloy jet against metal target, the static explosive experiments were conducted with the simulated target of 45# steel in comparison with the copper jet. As shown by the experimental results, the depth of penetration (DOP) of the amorphous alloy jet declines with the stand-off distance after it reaches a level higher than 3.0 charge diameter (CD).
