Experimental study on electrical load of single building based on time-frequency domain coupling characteristics

Abstract

The electrical load characteristics of office, shopping mall, and hotel buildings in different seasons were experimental studied in this article by using daily load characteristics indicators firstly. Then, the annual load curves and characteristic indicators of various types of buildings were also analyzed and compared. The results showed that the load rate of shopping malls is around 0.52, while the load rate of office buildings is approximately 0.61~0.73. So from the perspective of time domain indicators, the volatility of shopping malls is slightly higher than that of office buildings. The peak to valley ratio of shopping mall buildings reaches 0.88 or above, while that of office buildings ranges from 0.51 to 0.76. The weekly imbalance coefficient of the hotel building this week is 0.93, and there is a small difference in the maximum electrical load between the working and rest days of the hotel building. It can also be seen there is a small difference in the maximum load between the working and rest days.
