Experimental study of resistance test of relative motion of metal sheet and coal slime

Abstract

Ash and other impurities in raw coal can adhere to equipment surfaces during transportation, causing surface corrosion and transportation blockage. To investigate the effect of different water contents on the adhesion force of coal slime, the adhesion mechanics relationship between the relative motion of coal slime and metal surfaces was investigated. Six coal slime samples with different water contents were configured for the adhesion tension experiments with relative motion, and the composition measurements of the coal slime samples were carried out to analyse the effects of coal slime water content and relative motion speed on the adhesion tension of metal sheets. It was found that both the water content of coal slime and the relative motion speed affected the adhesion tension between the metal surface and coal slime, in which the effect of the water content of coal slime on the adhesion tension of the metal sheet was greater than that of relative motion speed.
