Experimental Study of Influences of Initial Temperature on Cement Grout Performance

Abstract: Through the experiment, this paper studies and analyzes influence of different initial temperatures on cement grout performance. The results show initial temperature has influences on grout fluidity, bleeding rate, setting time and early strength. Under guaranteed curing temperature, initial temperature has no influence on long-term strength of grout.

“…Second, during construction of JP3, the pressure of the ultra-high-pressure grouting pump According to the relevant research results [26,27], as the environmental temperature decreases, the cement hydration rate decreases and the cement hydration products, which are lapped and bonded together, are easily precipitated. These factors reduce the fluidity of the cement slurry and increase the friction between the cement slurry and the pipes, causing the cement slurry to lose pressure.…”
