Experimental Studies of the Protective Effect of Ginkgo Biloba Extract(GBE) on Cisplatin-induced Toxicity in Rats.

Abstract: Cisplatin (CDDP) is an effective antineoplastic agent in the treatment of solid maligna nt tumors. Its clinical use, however, is limited because of various side effects including sensorineural hearing loss. Several agents have CDDP-induced toxicity without attenuation of CDDP antitumor activity.
