Multifractal negative binomial distribution derived from the nonlinear Markov process has been used to describe the multiplicity distributions in hadron–hadron and hadron–nucleus interactions at √s > 10 GeV. The analysis aims at the study of intermittent structure of hadron production in h–h and h–A interactions in terms of bunching parameters and a comparison with the conventional negative binomial approach. This is in continuation of our earlier analysis of e+e− and p̄p interactions.

Abstract. The models frequontly applied to estimate the targot mass in high energy interactions are used in conjiinction with the HEISENDERG formula to obtain a semi empirical formnlatiori for multiplicity.I t is seen that the oxperimental data obtained by us and other authors on multiplicity f i t into that formulation when considering the initial colliding systems to'be either x -p or .7t -z. Also the values of Cos 0 (0 being the eniissioii angle of the secondaries in lab system) averagcd ovcr all ritiitted particles estimated from the above formulation are in good sgrecment with our experimantnl Chtli. - Ein neuartiger Zugang zurn RIuItiplizitatsproblein boi HtrdronenRtiiBeriInlialtsiibersicht.
