Experimental Investigations on Influences of Nozzle Size and Jet Reynolds Number on Cooling Characteristics of Impinging Water Jets

Abstract: The present study involves the experimental investigations of the heat transfer characteristics of axisymmetric water jet impingement on a heated plate. Various parameters affecting the thermal performance of axisymmetric water jet are identified and their effects on heat transfer behavior are also studied.
