Abstract:The aim of the current research is to investigate the effect of geometry and different angles (180°, 150°, 120° and 90°) of the edge of a vertical drop with a height of 0.15 m with and without a vertical screen on energy dissipation. The finding showed that the triangulation plane forms a vertical drop at different angles of 180°, 150°, 120° and 90° without a screen that increases the energy dissipation of the drop, which is highest at an angle of 90°, by 50.5%.
