Abstract:This study presents a compelling case for the development of a motorcycle swingarm using aluminum alloy instead of stainless steel. By significantly reducing the weight of the component, various benefits are achieved, including improved fuel economy, reduced emissions, and lowered primary investment costs in the manufacturing process.
