In contrast, considering the results of earlier studies (Basso and Marini, 2014) and those of this work as a whole, innate immune response components, in the model of vaccinating mice with T. rangeli, leads to the elimination T. cruzi infection earlier when compared to mice challenged only with the latter parasite (the control group). These findings would reveal the presence of cells and soluble factors that integrate the innate immune response, with an immunological memory equivalent to that of the adaptative immune response, collaborating with the latter to eliminate the parasites precociously.…”
