Abstract:A series of Cu(II), Co(II), Cd(II), Hg(II), Mn(II), and Zn(II) complexes (1−6) of (1-methyl-1H-imidazol-2yl)(phenyl)methanone ligand (L) have been prepared and structurally characterized using single-crystal X-ray diffraction. A study of electrochemical properties has been conducted by cyclic voltammetry. Transition metal coordination complexes are known to have promising optical nonlinearity behavior. So, to explore the quadratic and cubic nonlinear optical (NLO) phenomena of title transition metal coordinati… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
