“…Wenming et al 13 found that the introduction of a block insert increases the temperature level and uniformity of distribution. Tang et al 14 illustrated the advantages of utilizing a cross-plate in enhancing the blow-off limit and temperature level. Meanwhile, Wan et al 15 found that the introduction of a central rod expanded the blow-off limits.…”

“…By extensive research of Tang et al 32 and Su et al, 33 it could be known that multi‐channels in micro‐combustor could achieve higher radiation energy and radiation efficiency due to the improvement of thermal performance. Moreover Tang et al 34 developed a micro‐combustor with an inserted cross plate, and the result showed that the cross plate was beneficial for thermal performance between inner wall and outer wall, so as to increase the average wall temperature apparently. Nadimi et al 35 proposed a micro‐combustor with micro‐fin inserted in the chamber, and the special structure could transfer of heat from center to inner wall.…”

“…While, for extremely hot wind of 1001 K the blowout occurs easily. Tang et al 3 carried out experimental and numerical study on premixed propane/air flames in a planer micro combustor with a cross-plate insert. They reported that the cross-plate in micro combustor widens the blowout limit.…”
