For the third time in the history of humankind, it is trying to implement e-mobility. There is a reasonable hope that this attempt will succeed this time. E-mobility is generally regarded as a zero emission. This sentence can only be true in a very small scope, as only in relation to selected parameters and in a very limited its dimension. The situation can change radically. If it will be take into account, the emissions in the production of electricity is necessary for the movement of this type of vehicles Second problem is the energy use amount. We know today that the energy consumption of electric cars, especially in long-term operation is too big. This general knowledge is not confirmed by research results. Both relevant databases and methods of their analysis are missing. This is an unfavourable situation because it is not possible to verify the effects of various changes introduced e.g. in the construction or technology of cars. This publication can be included in those in which it is shown how to change this situation. The analysis of the results of long-term car use can be used as a verification of various development works, especially in e-mobility, which is only just starting. In the future, it will be need to create the appropriate “big data” databases and a number of tools to analyse the data collected there.

-The article discusses the analysis of the influence of the connecting hole diameter on the amount of the mixture, flowing from the basic volume to the additional volume at the compression stroke in the prechamber engine. The resulting mathematical model allows one to accurately determine the amount of fresh charge, overflowing from the main combustion chamber into the secondary chamber at the compression stroke. The quantity of overflowing charge, taking into account the presence of throttling, allows one to determine the composition of the air-fuel mixture in the main and additional combustion chambers. Owing to the obtained results, it becomes possible to select the optimum mixture composition by adjusting the amount of fuel supplied. The experimental data on the immunity of the thermodynamic cycle of the upgraded engine to different sorts of fuels within a wide range of octane numbers and their viscosity by optimizing the air coefficient in the additional chamber without departing from the optimum ignition limits in all load conditions are given.

Lubricity of fuels for CI engines becomes one of very important parameter since the sulphur content was decreased to 50 and actually 10 ppm. To provide effective lubrication of fuel pumps and unit injectors elements, in case fuel does not contain organic sulphur compounds, the oxygen containing organic compounds are added as lubrication additives. Biocomponents are usually introduced into mineral diesel fuel containing additives package, which includes lubricating additive (organic acid). The aim of this paper is investigation of the influence of polar oxygenates added to petroleum diesel fuel in concentration between 5 and 20% (V/V) on lubricating additive effectiveness in protective layer creation.The results of HFRR tests obtained for blends of commercial diesel fuel containing lubricating additive with biobuthanol models (MB) leads to conclusion that: − generally the buthanol isomers addition increases wear of upper ball of HFRR apparatus, − wear of upper ball of HFRR apparatus depends on the average film thickness and does not depend on tested fuels viscosity at 40°C, − dilution of commercial diesel fuel by biobuthanol models and consequently decreasing of lubricating additive concentration cannot be the only reason of deterioration of tested blends lubricity. It was concluded, that the possible reason of lubricity deterioration by buthanol added to commercial diesel fuel in concentration between 5 and 20% (V/V) are antagonistic interactions between oxygenates (buthyl alcohol) and lubricating additive. These antagonistic interactions depend on the structure of buthanol isomers.
