This paper deals with the designing and implementation of microcontroller based security system to alert when unauthorized persons try to enter in a home. The first phase of security was implemented using a GSM module to send alert message (SMS). To make the system robust additional layers of security has been incorporated by including security devices such as android based door password, manual keyboard to open the door, PIR motion to detect unauthorized person in the home, rotating ultrasonic sensor by servo motor to active the camera to capture image and RF transceiver to produce voice signal to alert people outside the home. The system's main hardware was designed by Arduino based microcontroller ATmega328. Arduino ISP was used for system designing and Arduino serial monitor is used to test the GSM module. The implemented system was seen to perform well.

Wireless and Mobile Network Infrastructure services generally examine how different infrastructure providers are positioning themselves to compete in wireless services. These services analyze the opportunities and challenges facing by the infrastructure providers selling to wireless and mobile network operators worldwide. The opportunities and challenges are the review of strategies, market positioning, and future direction in the market for wireless and mobile network infrastructure. The service covers all generations of wireless and mobile network infrastructure: 2G, 2.5G, 3G, and 4G so on global in scope. Majority of the users are mobile wh ile availing these services. Mobility is the most important feature of any wireless and mobile network. Usually, continuous service is achieved by supporting handoff fro m one cell to another. Poorly designed handoff schemes tend to generate very heavy signaling traffic and, thereby, lead to a dramatic decrease in quality of service. In this paper we make a co mparison study on some selective traffic models with priority handoff scheme. The study shows how a handoff procedure has a significant impact on wireless mobile network performance on the basis of two primary criteria-Blocking probability of originating calls and the forced termination probability of ongoing calls. In addition to this the study shows arrival rate of handoff calls, and appro ximate nu mber of mobile users that get serviced by underlying base station.

Abstract-The research activities in mobile computing and wireless networks strongly indicates that mobile computers and their wireless communication links will be an integral part of the current internet works. Communication over wireless links is characterised by limited bandwidth, high latency, high bit-error rates and temporary disconnections. Most often, networks with wireless links and mobile hosts incur significant losses due to handoff. It is also most important that in wireless environment TCP (transmission control protocol) causes degraded end-to-end performance. In this paper, we tried to give solutions to these problems. We adopt a new method to improve the end-to-end reliable transport performance in mobile wireless environment by incorporating changes to network-layer at the base station and mobile host and preserve end-to-end semantics of TCP. The methodology employs NDG (normalised delay gradient) loss-predictor function to determine congestion losses from that of transmission loss. The sender window can adjust its size depending on the loss information. If the loss is due to congestion, congestion control algorithm is invoked to decrease the flow rate. If the loss is due to handoff (transmission loss), immediate-recovery algorithm is invoked to recover the losses caused by the sender TCP. Stochastic equations are used to analyse, i) arrival rate handoff calls, ii) blocking probability of handoff request, iii) distinguish packet loss due to congestion or handoff, iv) dynamics of sender window, v) queue length at the ingress point of the BS router , vi) throughput, and vii) the losses due to congestion and handoff blocking. Our results provide better way understanding the problem of calls drop due to handoff, and providing most accurate solutions for mobile wireless system.
