Abstract:A significant element impacting sealing performance is the existence of defects on the valve plate's sealing surface. On plates without defects, we run a static sealing test. On the five wedge gate valve plates with pit defects created on the sealing surface, we performed static sealing tests, sealing tests with switching, and thermal fatigue sealing tests.
