Abstract:Abstrac tAn implementation of a programmin g laboratory is described . Under thi s implementation, the emphasis is on th e motivation and objectives, which ar e closely patterned after the ACM Curriculu m ' 78 requirements . The resultant effect s on students ' performances and attitudes t o programming are described . An achievemen t of this implementation is the systemati c breakdown of students ' psychological fea r of programming and program debugging .
