Experiences of noninvasive ventilation in adults with hypercapnic respiratory failure: a review of evidence

Abstract: Noninvasive ventilation (NIV) has been shown to be beneficial for patients with respiratory failure; however, many patients fail to tolerate it and require other interventions.
