Experiences and Support Needs of Bereaved Students in Higher Education

Abstract: Bereavement is commonly experienced by students in higher education and is associated with negative health and academic consequences. We conducted a systematic review of the literature to identify how grief affects students in higher education and the types of support they seek and/or find beneficial.
