Background: In recent years, cloud computing has grown vastly. Cloud computing represents a new model for IT service delivery and it typically provides over-a-network, ondemand, self-service access, which is dynamically scalable and elastic, using pools of often virtualized resources. However, this new paradigm is facing diverse challenges from many fronts. Methods: We conducted a systematic literature review of potential challenges of cloud computing. Documents that described challenges of cloud computing were collected of routinely. We grouped identified challenges in taxonomy for a focused international dialogue on solutions. Results: Twenty-three potential challenges were identified and classified in three categories: policy and organizational, technical and legal. The first three categories are deeply rooted in well-known challenges of cloud computing. Conclusions: The simultaneous effect of multiple interacting challenges ranging from technical to intangible issues has greatly complicated advances in cloud computing adoption. A systematic framework of challenges of cloud computing will be essential to accelerate the use of this technology for working well in fact and in order to face with respect to mitigating IT-related cloud computing risks.

A felhőalapú szolgáltatások az elmúlt évtizedben jelen-A negyedik ipari forradalom részeként, a felhőalapú informatikai szolgáltatások (cloud computing) általánosan elterjedtté váltak az elmúlt évtizedben, jelentős hatással a felhasználói és a szolgáltatói piacra egyaránt. A felhőszolgáltatások által a felhasználók előnyös pénzügyi kondíciókkal új szolgáltatásokhoz és rugalmasabb rendszerekhez jutnak. A szolgáltatók számára az átalakuló informatikai piacon jelentős üzleti növekedési lehetőséget jelentenek a felhőszolgáltatások. Gyors terjedésük miatt az üzleti és tudományos szakirodalomban gyakran bomlasztó (disruptive) innovációként említik a felhőszolgáltatásokat. A szerző vizsgálatában arra keresi a választ, hogy a tudományos szakirodalomban elfogadott, az innováció jellegének megítélésére kidolgozott vizsgálati módszer szerint bomlasztó innováció-e a felhőszolgáltatás. The aim of this study is to analyze the reasons behind the adoption of cloud computing and its implementation process in startup firms as well as to verify the advantages and disadvantages deriving from the adoption of this tool and how it could increase entrepreneurial activities. We applied a research framework developed by previous scholars on cloud adoption within SMEs in an attempt to adapt it to startup firms. In particular, we conducted a case study in an Italian technological startup.Our results show that cloud technology supports and facilitates entrepreneurial activity, especially reducing several entry barriers for new entrepreneurs. This study contributes to the existing literature on cloud computing, and it has several managerial implications. First, it shows that setting up the organizational model on cloud computing allows entrepreneurs to reduce organizational efforts and ICT investments. Furthermore, this technology can reduce diversification costs by eliminating entry barriers, thus opening new markets and opportunities for entrepreneurs.
