Abstract:Phaeohyphomycosis is a chronic infection caused by filamentous dematiaceous fungi and it embraces a wide range of clinical presentations. Subcutaneous phaeohyphomycosis is caused by traumatic implantation of aetiological fungi in subcutaneous tissue and is usually reported in agricultural workers in the tropics.
