In this paper, we deal with the existence of a positive solution for 2 nd and 3 rd order boundary value problem by first defining their respective Green's function. TheGreen's function isused to derive the Green's function for the 2n th and 3n th order boundary value problem, respectively, wheren is a positive integer. The Green's function is also used to derive conditions for positive solution of the 2n th and 3n th ordereigen value differentialequation, respectively.
