Abstract:Not only the compressional dust acoustic solitary wave, but also the rarefactive one in a chain of the dust particles are verified by using the molecular dynamics simulation method. The compressional dust acoustic solitary wave is also obtained by using the traditional reductive perturbation method, while the rarefactive dust acoustic solitary wave solution is fitted by the numerical simulation results. The application scope of the traditional reductive perturbation method to derive compressional dust acoustic… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
