Exercise‐Associated Hyponatremia: A Local Case Report

Abstract: Most of us know the risk of dehydration during endurance exercise under extreme heat. We report a case that occurred in cool weather and when there was an abundant supply of fluid − the so-called exerciseassociated hyponatremia. It is a potentially life-threatening condition and has led to at least seven fatal outcomes reported in the literature.
