The gamma decay of the resonance-like structures observed in the reaction of radiative capture of protons by the nuclei 22Ne, 26Mg, 30Si, 34,36S, and 38Ar in the region of excitation energies of 7…12 MeV was studied. The excitation functions of this reaction were measured. The resonance strengths in the energy range of the accelerated protons Ep = 1.0…3.0 MeV were determined. The obtained discrete distributions of the magnetic dipole γ-transitions on the ground and excited states for the nuclei of the 2s1d-shell have resonance character. Giant M1 resonance on the ground and excited states in the 23Na, 27Al, 31P, 35.37Cl, and 39K nuclei has been identified. The position of the M1 resonance on excited states coincides with that predicted by the Brink-Axel hypothesis for nuclei that are at the beginning of the subshell.

A b s t r a c t :A v a i l a b l e i n f o r m a t i o n p e r t a i n i n g t o t h e n u c l e a r s t r u c t u r e o f a l l n u c l e i w i t h m a s s n u m b e r s A = 4 1 ranging from Al (Z=13) to Ti (Z=22) are presented. The experimental reaction and decay data are evaluated and a n y i n c o n s i s t e n c i e s o r d i s c r e p a n c i e s a r e n o t e d . T h e a d o p t e d v a l u e s f o r v a r i o u s l e v e l p r o p e r t i e s ( s u c h a s t h e spin, parity and and halflife) and gamma properties (energy, intensity and multipole character) are given. Since the prior evaluation several new measurements have expanded our knowledge of A=41 nuclides. The half-life o f t h e g r o u n d s t a t e o f 4 1 S i h a s b e e n d e t e r m i n e d a n d a s i n g l e e x c i t e d s t a t e i d e n t i f i e d . E x c i t e d l e v e l s i n 4 1 P h a v e b e e n o b s e r v e d f o r t h e f i r s t t i m e . I n 4 1 C l , s e v e n n e w e x c i t e d s t a t e s h a v e b e e n i d e n t i f i e d i n d e e p inelastic and heavy ion transfer reactions. Half-lifes for four states in 4 1 Ar have been updated and additional levels with gammas have been included from a new measurement using the multiple ion transfer reaction. In 41 Ca v i a c h a r g e -e x c h a n g e r e a c t i o n m e a s u r e m e n t s , s e v e r a l n e w e x c i t e d s t a t e s w e r e o b s e r v e d . A n u m b e r o f n e w resonances in 41 K have been identified via the (p,γ ) reaction. T h e r e r e m a i n s a s i g n i f i c a n t d i s c r e p a n c y i n t h e h a l f -l i f e o f t h e f i r s t e x c i t e d s t a t e ( 9 8 0 k e V ) i n 4 1 K , w i t h measurements differing by more than an order of magnitude. Transfer reactions suggest that this M1 transition s h o u l d b e l -f o r b i d d e n , h o w e v e r , s e v e r a l m e a s u r e m e n t s y i e l d a l i f e t i m e w h i c h s u g g e s t s a s i z a b l e M 1 s t r e n g t h .Further measurements to resolve the current conflicts would be beneficial.General Policies and Organization of Material: see http://www.nndc.bnl.gov/nds/NDSPolicies.pdf.
