“…All three proteins were identified in a proteomic study of Caulobacter OMPs (Phadke et al, 2001), and CC0210 and CC2819 were also identified in a study of proteins enriched in Caulobacter stalks (Ireland et al, 2002). Finally, CC3013 and CC0210 were identified as OMPs that are abundant during growth on rich medium but not on minimal medium (Neugebauer et al, 2005). Because the levels of CpaC* and three abundant TonBdependent receptors are reduced in DbamE membranes, and because Caulobacter BamE associates with other BAM complex homologues, we propose that it participates in the assembly of these OMPs.…”
