Examination of Tissue Perfusion by Arterial Spin Labeling (ASL)

Abstract: Arterial spin labeling (ASL) is a non-invasive magnetic resonance technique for tissue perfusion quantification working without contrast media application. The method uses magnetically labeled blood protons as intrinsic tracer.
