Exacerbation of Avellino Corneal Dystrophy After Laser In Situ Keratomileusis

Abstract: LASIK is contraindicated in patients with Avellino corneal dystrophy because vision may be reduced by corneal opacities that appear in the interface of the flap and remaining posterior stroma postoperatively.
