EVS Channel Aware Mode Robustness to Frame Erasures

Abstract: This paper discusses the voice and audio quality characteristics of the EVS, the recently standardized 3GPP Enhanced Voice Services codec. Especially frame erasure conditions with and without channel aware mode were evaluated. The test consisted of two extended range MOS listening tests.
