Evolving Web Service Applications Using UML and OWL-S

Abstract: Web service provides a way to satisfy time-to-market and quality need by reusing services and building applications. Dynamic evolution offers flexibility so that software can adapt to unforeseen and fluctuating business requirements. OWL-S, based on OWL, is a service ontology language. The semantics provided by OWL-S support automation of service discovery, invocation, and service composition. In this paper we propose a framework to support dynamic evolution of Web applications based on semantic web service. T… Show more

“…The basic model, described in 1984 [7], was successfully used to assist several projects [8][9][10][11]. An improved 5-phase model and code incorporating a small disturbance speed [12] and radiation coupling with dynamics assisted other research projects [13][14][15] and was web-published in 2000 [16] and 2005 [17]. Plasma self-absorption was included in 2007 [16] improving soft x-ray yield simulation.…”

“…The difficulties in distinguishing I pinch from I total are obviated in numerical experiments using the Lee Model [11][12][13][14][15]. In a typical simulation, the I total trace is computed and fitted to a measured I total trace from the particular focus.…”
