“…The elimination of inclusions by the bubble wake is more effective at larger bubble diameters or higher concentrations of inclusions. According to Wang, [ 14 ] the bubble dispersion degree and bubble size attained a good consistency when the flow rate of soft blowing argon for a 100 ton ladle was between 80 and 110 L min −1 , when the removal efficiency of inclusions was high, and when the cleanliness index in steel stayed above 0.97.
