Evolution of host acceptability and suitability in Callosobruchus maculatus (Coleoptera: Bruchidae) developing on an occasional host: importance for pest status prediction

Abstract: In West Africa, Callosobruchus maculatus Fabricius mainly develops on cowpea (Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walpers) and sometimes on Bambara groundnut (Vigna subterranea (L.) Verdcourt).
