Abstract: <p><em>Denmark Strait, the channel located between Greenland and Iceland, is a critical gateway between the Nordic Seas and the North Atlantic. </em><em>Mesoscale features crossing the strait regularly enhance the volume transport of the Denmark Strait overflow.
