Evolution of Anesthesia in Nepal: A historical perspective

Abstract: Development and practice of anesthesia in Nepal has undergone its twists and turns in the past. This article briefly describes the history of Anesthesia in Nepal, its development to current days practice, evolution of anesthesiology as a subject and society of Anesthesiologists as a scientific community in medical field of Nepal.
