Abstract:Objective: To analyze the available scientific evidence about the skills of nursing professionals regarding the protocols of care in Basic Life Support.Method: An integrative review performed in the databases LILACS, PUBMED, COCHRANE LIBRARY and other sources of literature, in March and April 2016, using the controlled descriptors "Emergency Nursing", "Knowledge", "Cardiac Arrest", "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation".
