The effect of a hydrostatic pressure on RADP compound is studied by means of elastic and inelastic neutron scattering. From the diffuse incommensurate scattering, a phase diagram for freezing is established. At a given pressure, freezing temperatures are always higher than those derived from dielectric measurements. Transverse acoustic phonons are also studied under a pressure of Skbar. They exhibit a strong damping at low temperature in contrast to their behaviour at atmospheric pressure. The piezoelectric coupling model accounts for these results.
