Evidence of AlIIRadical Addition to Benzene

Abstract: Electrophilic AlIII species have long dominated the aluminum reactivity towards arenes. Recently, nucleophilic low‐valent AlI aluminyl anions have showcased oxidative additions towards arenes C−C and/or C−H bonds.
