Evidence for proton-pump inhibitor (PPI)-associated dysbiosis in metabolically unhealthy obesity

Abstract: Obesity adversely impacts millions of American adults by predisposing them to significant health risks and further complications. Obesity is differentiated into two groups: metabolically healthy and metabolically unhealthy.
