Abstract:Tuberculosis is a chronic, granulomatous infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Multidrug resistance is a chronic problem associated with treatment of tuberculosis where a substantial proportion of tuberculosis cases reported in India are multi-drug resistant.
